How harsh could be the operating environment for obstruction lighting systems? What about a rocket launch pad?
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) put the quality of Avaids obstruction warning lights to the test by deploying them on 120-meter-high earthing masts surrounding the first rocket launchpad at Sriharikota.
And how did they find it? Suffice it to say that they went on to use our lights for the second launch pad; and for the third one too. Avaids systems withstand the extreme vibrations during rocket launchers.
